Under 9 Major 1 Division 2010/11
Moone 6 - 4 Naas, September 11th
This was the first match of the season for the Moone u9 Major1 squad who hosted Naas at their new ground at Fortfield park. A slight mix up with start times saw Naas arrive 1 hour early. So this newly formed Naas team had plenty of time to warm up! Unfortunately early pressure from Moone was a sign of things to come. A strong passing game set up plenty of opportunities to test the Naas defence. Tom and James Sheedy were strong for Moone while Jack Rafferty and Andrew McGinley were strong in attack. New player Harry Slattery had a great start to his Moone career with two goals. James Williamson captained the spirited Naas team who worked hard all day with good performances by Sam Allison, Lucas Florian and Luke Brereton.
